My original plan was to post the video and nothing else, but I decided it needed a little explanation so as for me to not appear to be the meanest mama ever.
This video was taken when I pulled over after just getting in the car.
Jaxon always insists on getting into his car seat by himself, but sometimes he needs a little encouragement (read: threat of mama interference) to get the job done in a timely fashion. Usually, one mention of outside help will get his little toddler butt in his car seat fairly quickly. However on this day he just turned to look at me, flashed a cute smile, and went about his puttering. As threatened promised, I stepped in to speed the process along.
He was not amused.
Script (in case you cannot understand desperate toddler speak and omitting gasps and sobs):
Paparazzi! Paparazzi! (Referring to his favorite song ever, which I originally started in order to help him calm down, but had to turn off in order to capture this video.)
I see! I see! I see! I see! (His new favorite thing is to request to view the pictures or videos that are taken of him, as they are being taken.)
My phone! My phone! My phone! My phone! (Translation: Seriously mama, I NEED to see what you are doing with your phone.)
